Over the last five decades, McConnie Fence has grown alongside the Tampa Bay community, expanding our expertise to include every major fencing system used today. That evolution has always been grounded in durability, craftsmanship, and honest work.

DID YOU KNOW?
In 1973, Clifford McConnie started McConnie Enterprises as a crate repair company. That’s right, remember those wooden crates holding Cola bottles? That is how we began.
As plastic crates replaced wooden crates, McConnie Enterprises evolved into making wooden stakes for surveyors, contractors, and builders.
A natural complement to our business was the addition of the fence business which began with wood fences.
As demand increased for other fence products, McConnie Fence responded by offering fence products in a multitude of materials and styles to meet our customers’ needs.
We pride ourselves in the long-term relationships that we have had with contractors, builders, businesses, and homeowners in our community. These relationships are very meaningful to us! There are homeowners whose yards we have fenced, and we are now fencing their grandchildren’s homes. In addition, we are always happy to meet new customers and provide for their fencing needs.
In 1985 Clifford’s son, Andreas McConnie, joined the company full-time, expanding the commercial side of the business.
More recently, in October of 2025, Andreas’s son, Luke McConnie, joined the company. Luke currently is focused on integrating technology and building a marketing platform for the business.
